 Liner Notes
A veteran of the New York Jazz scene, now living in the Miami florida area, Chuck has performed and toured with a wide variety of artists, including Buddy Rich, Dave Grusin, Adam Nussbaum and Kevin Mahogany.

A native of New Orleans, Chuck’s unique compositional style and approach to improvisation reflect a wide variety of musical influences, while confirming a deep commitment to the rich polyrhythmic characteristics of his musical and cultural heritage.

This new release, titled Cause and Effect, is Chuck’s third recording as a leader; which features some of the most creative and influential musicians recording today. The CD is a collection of Bergeron’s original compositions, plus a funky New Orleans-style version of Cole Porter’s classic, Love For Sale. Chuck has received critical acclaim as a composer and soloist from many publications in the states and abroad, earning the ASCAP Composer’s Awards for his first two releases.
