 Review 1
These 26 tunes, recorded at three sessions between 1959 and 1962, were initially done to product 45-rpm singles for the jukebox market. The material leans heavily toward standards with a few bluesy originals thrown in. Quebec's vulnerable, big-toned tenor caresses every melody beautifully and his heartfelt solos are stirring. Sidemen include Sir Charles Thompson (on organ), Milt Hinton, and Skeeter Best.
