Whitfield, and Tim Warfield. She has peformed to critical acclaim at festivals around the
world, including North Sea, Monterey, Montreaux, Newport, Middleheim, and the JVC Jazz
Festival at Lincoln Center. She has recorded with Norman Conners and Ramsey Lewis.
Eve's education in music spans both the formal and the personal, with a degree in music to
supplement her careful transcription work of vocal giants Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald,
Carmen McRae and Billie Holiday. Born in Newark, NJ and raised in Newport News, VA, Eve

| Linda Fennimore
stands at the forefront of jazz violinists, a real muscian whose lyrical playing has drawn
accolades from the now late Stephane Grappelli (himself the acknowledged master of the
genre), and rave reviews from The New York Times, Variety, New York Daily News and a host
of other publications. Her most valued possession is a violin of Grappellis, given
to her by him, after a tour together in Europe. Linda is not only the foremost female
proponent of the form - she is one of the most talented violinists currently playing jazz
and pop music, regardless of gender. She is also incredibly versatile, backed up by her
classical training and blessed with the ability to play anything from fusion to chamber
music to top 40.

| Steve
Rudolph was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 10th, 1949, and spent his formative
years in Southern Indiana. His musical training began as a trumpet student, receiving
first place for trumpet performance at the Indiana State Solo & Ensemble contest five
years in a row, '63 - '67. At Butler University, 67-70, he studied with
Delbert Dale and Jackson Wiley among others. The rich jazz tradition in Indianapolis
(Montgomery Brothers, Floyd Smith, Ann Chamberlain, Jimmy Coe, Claude Sifferlin, Steve
Allee, Carroll DeCamp, John Von Ohlen, Pookie Johnson) fed his interest and at age 21
(1972), he changed his main instrumental focus from the trumpet to the piano. In '77 he
was hired by Buddy Morrow to perform with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra where he backed up
Helen O'Connell and the Mills Brothers. Steve left the Dorsey tour after one year and
moved to Harrisburg, PA to lead a trio six nights a week at the Holiday Inn Town. Guest
artists Johnny Coles, Jr. Cook, Ira Sullivan, Al Grey, Bob Mintzer, Joe Lovano, Eric
Kloss, Sal Nistico, John Von Ohlen, Terry Silverlight, Roger Rosenberg and others apperaed
with Steve's trio. By the time the job at the Holiday ended in '80, Steve's reputation in
Central PA had grown and he was very much in demand. He stayed in Harrisburg, performing
regularly and serving as an advocate for his art form, organizing a jazz society (the
Central PA Friends of Jazz), hosting jazz radio programs, teaching, and booking jazz
artists in area clubs and concert venues.
